When I compared dealer invoice prices on various 04 models, I noticed the $135 difference across the board for PZEV. Shopping in NY and MA I seem to recall finding a scattering of PZEV's, but the majority were ULEV's. I hear that NY is adopting the CA air quality standards in 06, and that new cars sold after the effective date (1/1/06 ?) will be required to satisfy the PZEV standards.

Out of curiosity, what is the extended emissions warranty for PZEV?

The trees in northern Vermont are only starting to turn color now. Someone local may have a better prediction, but I'd imagine October 20 or so would be glorious. And a little hard to find a place to stay, at least on a weekend. I'd also imagine there aren't many high-volume dealerships in VT, NH or ME, so you might not get the best available price there. A train to NYC might be a better alternative.

But you can check for yourself. Type in the zip codes for Brattleboro and Portland at hondacars.com and call the dealers to negotiate a price. Compare with the dealers in Greenwich (CT) and New Rochelle (NY), then decide.

I'm hoping someone will still answer my question on the price for a 2005 automatic EX-L with NAV. Edmunds doesn't list invoice, and I think their TMV is way too high. I've just gotten a dealer to agree to 23,900 and change for this. I think this will be my best deal, but would love to hear from anyone who got it for less!

sorry, this was me being dumb as it was too early in the morning for me to be at work.

2 door, 4 cylinder, automatic. 2005 EX-L, no nav, no add-ons of any kind. Just trying to find out the prices that people have paid for such a vehicle in the NJ area.

alternately, if dropping fog lights into the car, what's a good price to expect for those?

Is $18600 including destination charge?

What about dealer fees?

Edmunds doesn't have invoice price for 05 yet, anyone know what's the invoice price for 05 LX? Thanks.

2005 EX-V6 Sedan in Philly Area by shastamcnasty

Just picked up a Graphite Pearl '05 EX-V6 Sedan for $25039 + TTL. I found a couple of other dealers who were willing to match the price. So, I would think that you diehard negotiators out there should be able to get one for even less.

Hope this helps. Good luck!

I got a quote on a 04 Accord LX with Auto for $17590 included Destination charge. Is this a good deal in Boston area? I am wondering what people in the area paid for the similar model.

Thanks in advance!

Yes it includes destination charge. Just tell the dealer you refuse to pay it. I had some dealers mentioning that and blah blah. Show em the money and they will be willing to let go at this time of the month.
Also vehix has the prices for 05 Honda. They maybe 1 to 1.5 % lower than the invoice price since honda raised 05 prices by 1.5%
