Hi All: ___When or if I do ever do decide to pick up an Accord EX-L w/ or w/out NAVI, how are PZEV’s differentiated in NY, VT, ME, and MA? Are all Accord’s sold in those states PZEV’s or is it a special order? In California, I believe there is a $135.00 up charge (well worth it for the extended emissions warranty and PZEV emissions imho) but I don’t know how they are sold in the other green states listed above. ___With that, since I cannot purchase a PZEV here in Illinois, I would like to purchase one (Accord I4 Sedan w/ Auto - EX-L w/ NAVI in PZEV format) from a large dealership in NY when the time comes as it is the closest state to my locale. Is there any large Honda dealerships in Western NY state that are known to discount like the larger dealerships here in the Chicago area? 04’s for Invoice or less were advertised in the Chicago Tribune from Grandhonda.com for literally weeks. There has to be a similar large dealership in the NY area I could pick one up for the same at some future point in time. My wife has always wanted to visit Maine and Vermont so maybe I could make a rail trip with her and drive a PZEV home from either of those 2 sates as another thought? ___Thanks in advance for any and all replies. ___Wayne R. Replying to: xcel (Sep 28, 2004 6:07 pm) Out of curiosity, what is the extended emissions warranty for PZEV? The trees in northern Vermont are only starting to turn color now. Someone local may have a better prediction, but I'd imagine October 20 or so would be glorious. And a little hard to find a place to stay, at least on a weekend. I'd also imagine there aren't many high-volume dealerships in VT, NH or ME, so you might not get the best available price there. A train to NYC might be a better alternative. But you can check for yourself. Type in the zip codes for Brattleboro and Portland at hondacars.com and call the dealers to negotiate a price. Compare with the dealers in Greenwich (CT) and New Rochelle (NY), then decide.

Just trying to find out the prices that people have paid for such a vehicle in the NJ area. alternately, if dropping fog lights into the car, what's a good price to expect for those? |

Just picked up a Graphite Pearl '05 EX-V6 Sedan for $25039 + TTL. I found a couple of other dealers who were willing to match the price. So, I would think that you diehard negotiators out there should be able to get one for even less. Hope this helps. Good luck!

I got a quote on a 04 Accord LX with Auto for $17590 included Destination charge. Is this a good deal in Boston area? I am wondering what people in the area paid for the similar model. Thanks in advance!
