First, any recent or soon to be Accord owners here in the Missouri/St. Louis area? Interested in sharing info. Second, anyone know when the ')5's come out, or when you can order? And would you wait for an 05 now that it getting later in the year (albeit only May). Thanks to all who contribute here. |

| Honda usually puts the new model year out in late September-October. | |

Then which month is the best time to buy accord?

The three Honda dealers here in Las Vegas want $24K or more. Honda Nevada dealer fees are very high in Las Vegas, or they say. Any truth to this claim? Sound like California has the deals. I'll go there if I have to. Please share any Las Vegas purchases. Thank You in advance.

Hello, New to this board so please bear with me. Looking to lease a 2004 accord ex-l w/leather. msrp 24,790. Talked with a fleet salesman at one local ohio dealer and here is my quote based on this lease. Zero down except 1st payment and tags, 15,000 miles per year at 200 over invoice. His quote came back 407.07 for 24 months-379.30 for 30 months and 339.02 for 36 months. I sent another email to another dealer looking to beat that deal. Should hear back from them on Monday and I am looking for advice and suggestions on next step to take. Is this dealer way out in left field or am I in the ballgame. Need some advice. Thanks Randy-Ranbobpta |

Replying to: accordlover (May 09, 2004 6:19 am) It stands to reason that the car should be heavily discounted from what I paid because nobody is standing in line to purchase any mid-sized sedans these days, and a shiny new 2004 Accord will be one model year old in about 3 months. So, an '04 should now be VERY close to a clearance sale price which should be well below invoice. If you plan to buy an Accord LX or an EX that doesn't have the side, curtain airbags, be aware that ALL 2005 Accords will have them as standard equipment. That might be a good reason to wait until the '05s are introduced if you can wait 3 to 4 months. When the '05s appear, they will be favorably priced because the Accord will be a carryover model in the 3rd year of its 5 year cycle. Nobody will give a hoot about the '05s as they didn't at the start of the 2nd year either, so you'll still get a good deal on a car that will be new for a FULL year. Whatever you save by buying this late in the year will cost you when you sell or trade the car which will be one model year older very soon. So waiting for a year-end deal might be false economy unless you plan to run the car until its wheels fall off.......Richard |
