I wish I could remember the name of the warranty company I dealt with, but after buying a used Audi tt, with a $2,000 refundable (and transferable) warranty, I was able to cash it in for a FULL refund! All I had to do was pay $50 to have it transferred into my name and then cash it in before the original manufacturers warranty expired. I couldn't believe the guy before me paid that much.

On carsdirect.com, the price they give me is now $200 less than it was last week. You may want to check this out. 2004 Honda Accord 2dr Coupe 3.0 EX w/Auto/Leather/XM CarsDirect price (ZIP 47909): was $24133 now $23933 Under the incentives/rebates listing, it says this has special pricing that expires on 05/31/04. Any idea what this is?

In the incentives/rebates section on Edmunds it shows 1.9%/2.9%/3.9% APR for 36/48/60 months from 05/04/04 - 07/06/04.

Hello all .. I purchased a new Accord EX-V6 on 4 May 2004 for $23725 + tax, license and documentary fees. This figure is approximately $500 UNDER invoice and included a dealer's "pack" of 3 different HONDA branded accessories for the Accord, which were wheel locks, trunk liner and mud flaps for all 4 wheels. I thought the price was so good that I didn't complain about the pack. The dealer agreed to lower the "asking price" of the pack from $599 to $385, which he said was his "cost". I knew at that time that the actual cost of mud flaps, trunk liner and wheel locks is closer to $200, but I thought the deal was so good that I didn't want to jeopardize it. I used edmunds.com to get an online quote from various Honda dealers in the Southern Cal area. I was surprised that most of the dealers I queried responded with a hard number and that the number was below invoice. If anyone is curious, I got e-mail quotes, below invoice, from Nelson Honda and Diamond Bar Honda. These dealers are in Los Angeles County in Southern California. I am beginning to think that I didn't just luck into a situation, but that this is becoming commonplace. Has anyone gotten deals on the Accord to $500 below invoice in May 2004? This price was also available in April 2004. Regards,
