#31401 of 32215 Prices for 2013 EX-L Coupe in Los Angeles?
Sep 28, 2013 (3:25 pm)
So after my purchase of my Accord Sport, my sister now wants to trade her Altima Coupe for an Accord Coupe, she wants exactly EX-L (no Navi) 2013 model, anyone else with this exact trim level and in Los Angeles, could you tell me what numbers were you guys receiving? Also how does trade in work exactly? Her car is valued at $15.3k off KBB.com is it true to trade it in the evenings and what's the reality of getting all $15.3k?
Side note, I know this is only Accord Forum but any info on 2013 Honda Fit Sport prices would be greatly appreciated! (Going to buy my mom a Fit now =) )

Hi Denise, Did you pay a doc fee on top of that? Can you provide a breakdown of the deal? I really appreciate your help!

I posted earlier in mistake gave you pricing info on the 2014 lx model.
I have invoice plus dest charge at 23,225 from Edmunds on the sport model.
dealer 1 is at 440 below invoice. I would try to make a similar deal with the closest dealership to your house. Unless dealer 1 is the closest.
Sorry again for the pricing confusion.......... good luck

Thanks for the reply brian, do you think 440 below invoice is a good price considering end of sept or would it be possible to shoot between 700-800 given what other prices people have gotten? I was planning on trying to get below $25,000.

Hi all. Picked up my 2014 EX-L on Saturday for $26,150 per my previous post. Thanks again to all the advice that helped me get this price.
As mentioned, I got it from Millennium Honda on Long Island. Their price was the best, but they seemed a little frustrated when I was looking over the car in the sunny parking lot for any small dents or scratches, as opposed to listening to the sales guys who kept saying "It's a new car, what's to look over?" Normally the cars are in their dark garage, but hard to see anything there.
Also, finance guy "forget" to include the $500 flex cash, and just concentrated on the monthly payments with me. Easy to notice error when I asked to review all the finance numbers. Like most on this forums, I'm very detail oriented, but so easy for those uninformed not to get everything promised.
Happy with my car and price, but customer service could have been a little better. Oh, well, can't have it all

Thanks for Briand and Bluemkn, I'm ready to go into a dealership. 2nd to last day for month end and quarter end. Another dealer said he would try to meet my $500 below invoice price but insisted i come in. He is only 10 mts. away so I will try. Went to one yesterday who was selling me $500 below invoice but the trade-in price was horrible, several thousand below wholesale price so I had to walk out but dealer to their credit was willing to sell me the car at the agreed price. Dealers warming up due to month end. Let's see what happens and I will post my experience. Have calls to other dealers in area so hoping something is going to happen.

Congrats on the new car Steve! And way to go staying in control of the whole process. Funny how THEY get frustrated, after all, you are the one plunking your bucks down.
Enjoy your new Accord!
