Thanks so much for the reply. I am really worn down but would like to make a deal by end of month. So if I remember correctly you paid 23114 plus 359 doc which equals about 23473. I like to work with price plus doc fee, not including reg and NJ tax. According to Edmunds, the invoice on a EXCVT with dest is 24037. This calculated to about 600 off of invoice. Am I working things out right. Do you agree? It does sound like a believeable price. The reason I didnt contact DCH Honda is about two months ago I went to DCH Toyota and they just wouldnt deal on a Camry. But now since reading your post I probably will call them. Did you speak to a sales manager of a saleperson?

Mar 28, 2013 (8:33 am)
Hi all, is 22,000.00 drive-out a good price for Honda Accord 2013? this dealer initially gave me 22,600. and I offer 22,000. He then he say it is "possible". Anyone can get lower than this? Thanks for any inputs!

I don't know if I have seen any better price posted here. Great deal! I doubt you could have done much better at the end of the month.

Initially they offered me $23716.00 including the doc fee.. I told the sales person on the phone to send me an email with the otd price.(Previous Experience : Metro Honda tried to add $790.00 on the otd price we agreed on the phone when I went there. This is why email is important. Atleast you have proof in case they lie.) I was able to negotiate down to $23473.00 including doc fee. Also got the wheel locks for free which is about $40.00..(found it with the spare tire in trunk. I don't think salesman knew. ). At first they hasitated but luckily I got phone call from another dealer when I was negotiating. So I got up and started to leave. The sales person ran out in parking lot with sales manager and agreed to sell me with this price. I am not sure if it was a great deal, but after getting rejected at three dealers with that price, I am happy with my purchase..

Actually, when I first called Autosport and talked to Jane, who was supposedly the sales manager, she said a silver one was 'in transit' due between 3/26 and 4/1. When I called Krystal today, who lied to me and said she was the internet mgr, she said the silver one would be at the dealer by 4/4/13. So they did 'have' one but it was not in stock yet. But thats two associates that lied to me so I am going to cross them off my list....itis highly unlikely they will go below 21,220 no matter who I talk to no matter which day of month. Just my two cents.

I have a sales manager who offered me a fair price on the accord I mentioned, around 1,000 below invoice on the sales price, plus tax, title, etc.. He is really stressing that today is the last day he make the offer, now i'm not in too big of a hurry and can afford to wait, but i'd like to have the car soon.
My point is i'm extremely busy today, and probably can't make it without pulling something magical... would there quarter really end 2 days before the month as far as car sales total go? Y'all think he's full of it?

>I am already worn out by spending so many hours searching this forum.< At some point you have to ask yourself, how much is your time worth? I used this forum to get an idea of a good price. I don't have to find the best one, just don't want to get totally ripped off. Reputation of the dealer service afterwards is also important to me, so I didn't want to shop every possible dealer around. We found our EX-L for a decent price, bought it, and have been enjoying it for two weeks now.

You mentioned that your local dealer matched the price Ray Price gave you. That was like 750 less than invoice. Did ray price really give you that much less than invoice taking into consideration the 130 doc fee, because they just offered me about half of that number. And I talked to the manager. It just doesnt seem like these deals that people claim they got in NJ or PA are real.
