#26290 of 29561 Purchase Price -- Honda Accord Current Incentive Question by crv123

Jul 23, 2011 (9:31 pm)

Hi All --

I am considering puchasing a new accord sedan (currently looking at the ex-l with navi and trying to decide between the 4 and 6 cyl). I'm hoping that someone can help me understand the incentives listed here on the edmunds site. The summary for both models says $750 manufacturer to dealer, but when I look at the subdetail for the ex-l w-navi 4 cyl, it says marketing support up to $750 manufacturer to dealer (July 6 - Sept 6) and then lists $500 (June 15 - Aug 31). Below that it lists $500 bonus cash (June 15 - Aug 31). The 6 cyl lists bonus cash twice -- $750 (July 6 - Sept 6) and $500 (June 15 - Aug 31).

So, what I am trying to understand is whether there is just a $750 incentive on the table or, if for the 4 cyl there is $2000 on the table and $2500 on the table for the v6.

Thanks in advance!!

It depends on how much your taxes are and title and license fees. What are you getting the car for prior to TTL?

#26293 of 29561 Hold off on Accord? by npolite

Despite the issues my sister had with her 08, I can't get my mother off of buying an Accord. She is going to risk it and hope for the best.

I was quoted from the dealer for an LX-P 21,652 which includes the $200 doc fee. They also slapped a Vin etching (don't need), mud flaps, cargo net(don't need) and wheel locs. We are also eligible for $500 current Accord owner incentive. I was looking at the quotes before the shortage and see that our local Honda dealership was selling an LX-P for $19,619. That's over $4,000 off of MSRP. She isn't in that much of a need for a new one so we can wait a little while. Should we hold off until September when hopefully inventory will be back up?

Yeah I would say it seems ok. Keep in mind that if you can wait a few months when inventory is back up to normal, you could get this for 20,274. This was a price that was posted on this forum back in April.

I'm in Dallas. I have been quoted $29,856.00 out the door (taxes, fees, registration, etc) for a 2011 Honda Accord 2.4 liter EX-L with Navigation.

Does that seem fair or is there wiggle room?
