Replying to: gooddeal2 (Oct 18, 2009 6:48 am) Just for all the bashers out here(who are very weak in negotiating and are in total denial mode about the price I got) anything under $21000 for an EX- Automatic is a "Good Price"....anything above that should be stamped with "over paid" With just two emails and no hard negotiations got me the price I paid and my girlfriend still thinks I was dumb to take the deal. People can do anything in ignorance, if you know too much you set artificial limits in your head. How much the dealer made on my car will always remain a mystery to me, and that is what I hate about this business. There is TOO MUCH swing in prices paid...just look at this board. I still think I could have done better and if someone get and EX-Automatic for under $20500 OTD please post promptly...

I think they usually just put the final sell price and a note "all incentives are included". From time to time, I heard people say that Honda tries to hide their incentives as much as they can. They want people to think that we get good deals on their cars even though there's no incentive. It also helps the resale value b/c it makes people who buy used think that they get good deals as well (used car buyers think that new car buyers pay top $$ for the cars). |

| In central NJ, my friend is trying to buy an Accord (I advised him to it because I have loved all my Hondas so much). He was quoted $19,400 before TTL for a 2010 Accord LX. Is this a good price? Also he was given 4.9% financing, isnt there a deal for 2.9% financing on 60 months? | |

Replying to: ilovenewcars (Oct 29, 2009 11:40 am) Tomorrow I am picking up a 2010 Accord EX-L V6 Sedan for $600 less than invoice so better deals are possible. Just have to get lucky and find that 1 dealer wanting to reach a quota. |
