Yeah leasing is another profit center for them, I took 3 years at 1.9% and will pay it off in January. That's why you have to read the information here with suspicion. Too much missing information. How many cars did the dealer have. How close is the nearest competitor. What was the trade. What were the Lease factors. Everyone has something different which makes some pay more and some pay less. We don't pay any more than $300 sales tax so even if i Paid $2000 over invoice I had a better OTD price than someone who paid under invoice in a high tax state.

Bottomline is decide ahead of time how much profit you are willing to part with based on the ACV you want for the used car and make an offer. That's what I did. I offered $28.5 OTD and expected $9000 for my trade. (A trade they offered $7000 weeks earlier when I had it appraised against the same car at the same offer. I walked the deal but after a few weeks and a Carmax offer they came around.),I really did not want to buy the car out of town and expect preferential service. I know first hand buyers get preferential service over those who bought elsewhere.

I paid extra for the tinted windows because I would have paid more to get them done anyway an their tint job was far better then the local places around here.

Rather then be viewed as a "sucker" when I go there, I am sure I will get what I need when I need it because I was fair and did not try to squeeze every penny of profit out of the deal. I went back today to ask a few questions and have a cup of coffee...........It's nice to be greeted with respect rather then contempt when visiting the dealership for service or a favor.

I bought a 2010 Accord EX-L without navigation OTD at 26,500 with 2.9% financing. I added pinstripe, splash guards and wheel locks. I don't know how much additional navigation would be. I do know that $26,400 OTD for a 2009 would be too much, especially if I got the 2010 for $26,500.

Is it the OTD? Does it contain the $1500 dealer rebate?

A local dealer at my city offers $20,300 before TTL for a new 2009 Accord EX trim, and the OTD price is $22,300. How do you guys think? Is this a reasonable price? I also notice that they charge $600 document fee, is that way too high? Thanks for any suggestions!

I know this is apples to oranges but for our lease, our base price was 17,400 for a 2009 Accord LX.

I have an 06 Oddysey and we paid extra for the DVD and Navigation. Looking back, I will never get another car with Navigation and DVD built in, I will go to walmart and get one, I can update at any time. And for the DVD, I will get one for each kid.....lol

Is $288.00 a month a GOOD DEAL to LEASE A 2009 Accord LX-P.?
2009 LX-P ♦ 12,000 miles ♦ 1st payment down~ then 35 more
$288.00 (+ 10 free oil changes) and +$1150 cash back to me to pay off last 3 months on 2007 leased accord.
I will be moving right into another lease in 3 years so residual does not matter to me.
(or should it ?)
ANY answers appreciated.!
