We went through the entire process of picking out a color, going over trade-in (which they completely low-balled) and eventually agreed upon a price. Shook hands on what I thought was a done deal. then the sales guy comes back and says, I have bad news. My Manager thought this was for an Accord without NAV....huh??? What a joke. My wife and I stood up and walked out. I wouldn't go back in there again for anything. So, I am back to square one. I'm assuming though (since this deal was supposedly without NAV, they generally charge about $1,800-2,000. If that is the case, then the quote would have been around $23.7-23.9k. But once again, I wouldn't trust these guys. Sorry, I wish I had better news for both of us. Good luck! Replying to: jonboston (Mar 15, 2009 12:24 pm) i had emailed a few dealers and they "forgot" the same thing in their quotes . from what I have seen, a few of the dealers will do around 24,500 for a 2009 accord sedan EXL 4 cyl with NAV which includes all the fees etc but not taxes. those were online quotes but you may be able to do better when you actually get to the dealership although I like to get it done via email and phone and get it in writing before I even get there to avoid most of the hassles.

Replying to: crezalb (Mar 13, 2009 4:43 pm) Oregon has no sales tax on automobiles. Wow, I want to move to Oregon. I live in Tennessee and ours is 7% state tax, $100 local tax and then a small business tax on that. This is for the Nashville area. I would love the no tax.

Replying to: jason50 (Mar 13, 2009 7:21 pm) I didn't price any LX Accords since I knew I wanted the LX-P.   Gillman Honda Southwest was where I bought my car today. I dealt entirely with the internet salesman. After I was sure he was beating my local dealership, I had him e-mail me the final OTD price. There were no switches and no price changes. It took less than two hours to get the deal done, since I was financing through my credit union. The salesman I dealt with was Cody. He was able to beat the last price I had from my local dealer by about $500 after the first call, and I was happy with that price so I didn't continue to shop it around very hard afterward. Cody was pretty friendly. Know that I only had a couple of phone calls with him before today when I called this morning to say we were coming in, so in reality I had little contact with any at Gillman besides Cody, the receptionist and the finance officer (who was just having me sign the papers to be fax to my bank so there was very little discussion there).   My final OTD was $21,596 with window tint, pin stripe, and side moldings. It took me a couple of weeks to go through a few round of calls. Most of the Houston dealerships were all about the same price and unwilling at first to come down. I know Goodson North internet salesperson never gave me a final internet price. Gillman Rosenberg played ball for a bit, but refused to beat or even match when Gillman Southwest's gave me $21,596. Though, Roseberg gave me the feeling that they were counting on me continuing to shop prices around on them for a few more days. Even though I repeatedly said unless they could give me a reason to go to them, I was going to Southwest first (both dealerships are almost exactly an hour from me).
