Honda at Grand (located in Elmhurst) gave me the initial best offer of 25K flat out the door. Now at the same time this was an internet offer and I have a feeling that if I would have went in some things would have been added on. Nevertheless McGrath Honda said they would beat it by at least $100.

Question to everyone...I know that end of the month is one of the better times to buy...do you all know of any incentives coming up?

Honda's do sell here and the dealers know it. That high dealer fee is just what we have to live with unfortunately...it sucks. I think this part of the country is doing somewhat better than others if you remove housing from the equation. One does see many Honda's, Toyota's, Lexus's, Infiniti's & Acura's down here. Probably much like California in the choices of cars...wonder if the warm weather has any effect on this .

Buying 2009 Honda Accord EX L 4dr w/o Navi-DFW Area by simon70

I am trying to find the best price possible for a Honda Accord EX L V4 w/o Navi in the north dallas area. So far I have got the following offers, 23,410 by one dealer. The other dealer has offered 1300 below invoice. The dealers have agreed to beat one another by 500 dollars but I have not disclosed to them what the other dealer has offered. So I am looking at a final price of around 22900 plus tax and title. I did ask one dealer if he can come down to 22500 he has not responded so far. Did I qoute too low. How low can a dealer go. Has anybody bought the car for 22000 or below. Is that even possible.

Any help would be highly appreciated. Thanks.

I just bought 2009 Accord LX-P, 4 Cylinder Polished Metal.

Price was $19760 + Tax and Title and Fees = $21,800. Car came with Mud Guard, Wheel mouldings, wheel locks and door protection seels.

Honda Financed the car with 3.99% APR. Very easy to deal, very honest and straight forward sales person with no BS. Finance person was a little tough to deal but just say no to everything and you should be fine.

I am happy with the purchase. Good luck to you all who are still shopping, some of you have and will get a better deal than this. This forum helped me alot and thank you to all who posted their experiences. Hope this helps someone or can be used as a refernece.
