Have you tried talking to other dealers in the area? Did you also mention the incentives for this month?

I did try other dealers ( just through email and phone) and thats the lowest price I got ($22,900 OTD). I didn't mention $1000 incentive. Do you think they will reduce the price once I physically go there and talk them ?

What the best prices you guys think should be paid for Accord EX ? I have 7% tax in my area and all the dealers are charging $600 for documentation fee.

We went to our local dealership today for an '09 Accord LX-P with a window tint and protection package, and their internet salesperson gave us no wiggle room and said we wouldn't be able to get a better deal than the $22,025 OTD he gave us at the end. But after leaving in a couple hours with some calls, we're at $21,596 OTD at a different dealer in Houston. Per nexfa's tips on this forum I had already made contact with several internet salespersons prior to seeing what the local dealership would be able to do. I thought we could get a deal done today. But I still think I can get the price down lower even if I have to wait a week.

Sounds like a pretty good deal. I've been shopping here in St. Louis and seem to be getting around $23,100 for the i4 EX-L sedan.

I was wondering if anyone knows what the best deal you can get from Honda Finance is right now? Back in December they had these same prices, but you could also finance at 1.9%! Hoping it goes back to that area in the next few months as sales continue to lag.

It is not a great deal. that is somewhat about $3000 off MSRP. I've gotten $4000 off MSRP for a V6 model priced little more.

I too received offers that were in that range, but one dealer did beat them all by another $1K.

I'm in Midwest too.

Has anyone recently financed a New Accord through Honda Finance?
What rate did they give you and/or who did they matched your rate to?

Bank of America is giving 4.8%, it was the best I could find to date.

LX lease OTD vs Mthly Payment by kim100

Hi:

I have successfully negotiated down many cars in the past so this question is a little odd to ask now. However, since I lease my cars, I am curious as to why I have always been taught to negotiate the OTD price when I am leasing. My objective has always been no money down and everything in the back. So, before I start going through the motions once again, could anyone tell me why I need to concentrate on the OTD price when I am most concerned with my monthly payment?

BTW, I do not tell anyone that I want to lease vs buy until we are at the end of negotations. But, ultimately it is the no $ down and low monthly payment I am concerned about. So why am I caring about the OTD price? I appreciate any and all answers to this question.

Thanks,
Kim

I am getting an online quote of 22600 for the EX-L in Central NJ. Any idea, if that is a reasonable deal?
