$300 for the dealer processing fee is obscene. Iím in the market for the same exact Accord you are and I live in MD. Hersons in Rockville and Jim Coleman Honda charge only $100 for DP.
Did you already ask the internet associates for a straight on-the-road quote? If all else fails try not to pay an OTR price thatís higher than the MSRP. If you are then you are most definitely paying too much.

I dont know what the EX-L are going for. But when I was shopping for my V6 coupe my budget was 28k out the door.. First dealer I went to all couple of dealers laugh and said "good luck trying to get it out the door for 28k." They think we (customers) are trying to rip them off. Funny thing is that a week later I was back at the same dealership with a OTD price of $27,900. I ended up getting it for 27,700.00 from another dealership in Socal. Just keep on shopping around. I bet theres a dealer out there in the NJ/NY area that will give you that price of 25k-25.5k OTD.

#21755 of 32228 Got my v6 EXL tonight
Aug 20, 2008 (8:48 pm)
Thanks for all the help on this forum. Went to pick out my V6 EXL w/o Nav tonight. Tough decision between the White Pearl and Black, both with Ivory leather interior. Settled on the White Pearl until we realized it was an 09 with higher price and no special financing. Switched back to Black with ivory interior. Love it! Looks very sharp. Penske Honda in So. CA was great to deal with, internet price was $24,855 plus tax and license. Got 0.9% for 36 mos and a fair trade on my 03 VW GTI that I was glad to see go. The v6 drives like a dream, glad I spent a little extra to get the 6. Time to clay/Zaino this baby, get tint, and then I'm all set.

#21759 of 32228 Bell honda - worst promises and waste of your time
Aug 21, 2008 (12:44 pm)
My Review of Bell Honda:
Few days back I went with my family to purchase a Honda Accord EX-L car we had offered a price of $23,500 for a 2009 Honda Accord the sales person was Manny and Jeff. The sales person informed us he could try to $24,400 with his manager. But we wanted stick with our offer of $23,500. The manager there did not agree for the $23,500. We walk out of the Bell Honda place.
After few days we get an call from another manager call Ramirez new manager called us saying that to come down and he can make deal happen. We clear say that the last offer was $23,500 and sale person had offered us $24,400. Ramirez insists he can make the deal happen, as the difference was just $900.
On reaching there they pull out the same car but an different sale manager comes by his Name is Derek say he is head of all the sales people and say he can reduce the his offer by $200 for coming today for $23,200 and make an deal.
We accept the deal and shake hands. Ask the sale person to do the paper work, An half hour goes by as the sale person collects the insurance and the driver license information. Meantime a director walks in asks what car we are buy and comes back and says the deal is off. Saying there is a miscommunication within his team and by Derek.
The Bell Honda has no proper communication among the team members. Once an offer and deal is done by their sales manager they donít honor what was agreed upon. There customer service is very poor and management is donít honor the deal that was made by there manager who is in-charge of the sales.

wow, that's total unethical and I'd avoid that dealership like the plague. If we're talking EXL 4 cyl w/o Nav, your 23,500 price is more than reasonable. At 24,400 you're nearly in EXL v6 pricing... Try a few other dealers, you'll find your price. Out here in CA, EXL 4 cyl w/o nav is going for $23,300 all day long if it's a 2008 model.
