| I am looking for a 2008 4 door, 4 cyl, auto, EXL. I am in the Sacramento area. My lowest offer thus far is $23,500 + standard fees. Anybody know of a dealer in the general area that can get me that last $500 so I can meet the deals they are getting in SoCal? It's only $500 so obviously not flying to LA to get the car. Maybe something in the east Bay Area? | |

In asking for quotes, some dealers have mentioned paint sealant worth $595. None of them included in their price, but I was wondering whether this is a real dealer applied sealant or if it is already on the car already? Does anybody know about this "add-on"?

Please - I had the dealer from whom I bought my car in Albany, NY install the Honda factory body side moldings - 1. They look a 1000 times better than any after market stuff and 2. They cost $225 installed and, while some find them objectionable, I like their looks and they DO protect the sides from door dings - a real hazard here in Manhattan parking garages. This is a classic bait and switch. Try to get people in the door with a low price and switch them to another car/stock # after they arrive knowing that the original car is not available. I feel like calling the attorney general's office! This is a practice that is patently illegal in Mass. and most other places, btw. On the other hand, two other dealers came back at $21,431.00 + tax and I am pleased with that price. Now I just have to decide: gray or silver. Thanks for your input and insight! |
