I got a price quote for a 2008 Honda Accord LX-P for $21,500 OTD from a Honda dealer near Houston, Texas yesterday. They have two dozens of Accord in stock and the sales of Accord is just not moving at all. Is this a good deal? The 2008 Accord is good car but not great. It is bigger than the previous year's model. It has lower mileage, more road noises and worse crash test results etc. On the other hand, the Civic is selling like hot cakes. The dealer is trying to inflate the Civic price.

Anyone care to share price paid on a 4cyl coupe EX-L w/ Nav? I'm in the market for that just wondering how well anyone has done...

| My impression from visiting several Honda dealers in the past few days is that the selling of Honda Accord is extremely slow right now. The only car they sell is Civic. The initial price they offered for an Accord LX-P was the invoice price plus TTL. Note that the invoice price includes destination. You may work the price down to $500 to $1000 below the invoice. | |

Replying to: gismap (Jun 20, 2008 6:31 pm) St, Louis Honda is where I bought using Internet Sales Group. They have two guys that do the Internet traffic. Ask for them if you did not. They were not going to get beat by Bommaritto and when I went in I was buying that day or leaving. I was prepared to pay and not finance anything so they knew I was seriouus and had been shopping and getting pricing for two weeks. Since I got .09 financing I put the money in the bank Best Wishes |
