Only one dealer was willing to accept my 18.5k offer on 07 Accord SE V6. The lowest any other dealer got was 19.2k. Add TTL(10%) to ~19k = 20.9k. So 21k OTD is a very decent deal (will be really hard to go lower but I dont really think much about $100-200 when buying a $20k item - thats why I let my dad pay $200 more since he was happy)
with Honda, any SE V6 will be the same. The only differences are colors (external and internal) but right now, for 2007, you can only pick what is left.
You will probably not need any extra accessories. Might want to look at the Alarm but again, car should have keyless entry and anti-theft device installed by Honda.
Regarding warranty, the original 3-yr/36k warranty is the same for all cars. I think that the max. Honda offers is 7-yr/120k. Again, a car can break at any time (whether it is Ford or Honda or Toyota or BMW etc). Extended warranty is little bit peace of mind. Our older 2001 Accord had a transmission problem at ~80k miles but was covered under Honda warranty b/c of known problem on transmissions on that model year. Taking extended warranty is your choice, i cant give any input on it.
The only think that I would tell you to be wary about are:
1) Documentation Fees / Dealer Fees. Make sure that this is <$60. Anything higher and just walk out. We paid $55 for ours which I thought was on higher side. (I only paid $30 last year for my G35 and that was an infiniti dealer). 2) Finance/Interest Rate. As mentioned earlier, make sure you have some alternative financing (credit union etc.) or know the numbers. Dealer will give you a high APR first and then when you will counter it with your own Financing, they will magically bring it down (happened with us) I say, take 20.5k-21k for the SE V6 OTD and enjoy the car (especially if you can get the color combination you like). Its not worth it over couple of hundred dollars and then get a car with a color combination you dont like (One of the reasons we didnt get the 07 was that the colors we liked were sold-out) and the dealer that had the color was not willing to go lower. (Be flexible with the color when negotiating pricing but after deal is done, only then choose your color)

You are taking-on more debt, falling deeper in the trap if you buy this new car. I would keep your existing car until you have paid-off the credit cards. Pay down your highest interest credit card first followed by the next highest interest and so-on. Pay them all down to zero before you take-on more debt to own a depreciating asset.
I had a finance instructor for one of my MBA courses and he always buys used cars. He demonstrated that over a lifetime with the money saved and the power of compounding, you can accumulate several hundred thousand dollars by the time you reach retirement age.
I don't know if I am willing to buy only used cars, but I drive my cars as long as I can to minimize depreciation losses. A car depreciates about 20% each year, and the biggest loss occurs the first year. For every year, the depreciation is less on the declining balance. I am still driving a 1996 model worth $4k at best. If I keep it another year, I only lose $800 in depreciation. When I buy a $25k vehicle, I will lose $5,000 to depreciation the first year. I have now saved-up enough money by keeping my vehicle 11 years ($400 x 12 months x 6 years) to pay cash for a new Accord if I choose to.

Have you dealt with Pohanka before? How much of a discount did you get? What was the final price paid before taxes and destination was added on?

How do you know that the manafacturing cost for an Accord is about $12K. I am not surprised that tis might be the correct factory cost, but how did you come up with that number?

Where are you located? That seems like a good price. I was quoted $22,044 OTD for a 2007 Accord SE I4 in Phx, AZ.
