Replying to: dallas_b (Sep 01, 2007 5:48 am) Buy price is $23K which IS a sweet price. When I told salesman I wanted to lease, price went to $24,940 which seems like a big difference. Although I did read somewhere that the dealer cash is more like $2000 on this car.

Still, until the car leaves the store, the sale can be called off.   Based on the tone of that post, I'm sure as with most things, there were two different sides to that story!

I got an Accord LX 5 speed Auto around Hartford, CT for $19 K OTD..Got it in my favorite Graphite Pearl too !!

I like your blog,we as educated car buyers are no longer at the mercy of car dealers/salesman.Each of the 4 cars we bought in the last 3.5 years were researched on the internet,before buying.It is not in our best interests to show our hole card to any salesman when buying a car.For the person who bought a 7yr/100,000mile Extended Warranty for $1000.00($100 ded.)You got taken.We paid $575.00 for the Same Warranty for our Certified used 05 Accord EXL V6 Coupe,with no (0)Ded.You can cancel that warranty and look around,you can do better. Replying to: doug4321 (Sep 02, 2007 7:15 am) Your Certified used Honda came with a 7/100 powertrain warranty already. What you bought was a "wrap". The wrap covers the rest of the car.   Obviously since the powertrain was already covered, the cost of the wrap wouold be much less than total coverage like the other poster paid more for.
