I recently received an offer from Sport Honda for $18,160 plus $595 Freight and $49 Document processing. I took the offer to Honda of Bowie and they matched it. Price paid was $18,160 plus $100 dealer processing, $595 Destination, Tax 943 & tags $162. Total OTD $19,960. MSRP was $23,350 and it came with usual pinstripe, mudguards and wheel locks.

Hi. New to the board. Can you guys tell me what you think of a deal I have been quoted. $14,473 + TTL (This would include my trade worth about 3,000) . Thanks for the input. |

Replying to: jchan2 (Jul 29, 2007 6:24 am) Depending on your geographical location and inventory at the dealer(s) lots, your price will vary, but you should try to aim for a sales price including destination for under $19K if possible. For instance, I paid $18,134.85 (see post #15715) while ddwmew paid $17,465.83 (see post #16032) for the same vehicle about two weeks apart: an I4 EX 5AT here in the Northern VA/DC area from two different dealers. These prices are not including destination (freight), tax, tags, proc. fees. Of course, if the local dealers in your area aren't willing to negotiate/deal, you may need to fly/travel to a larger city where competition is more aggressive to buy the car. That was what iamime did (see message #16103), flying from Louisiana to the VA area to buy an I4 EX-L 5AT saving $3100 over his local dealers prices! Regards, David

Replying to: 4honda (Jul 29, 2007 7:13 pm) Just wondering but since Honda of Bowie only matched and not beat Sport Honda's price, didn't it cost you more at Honda of Bowie since their proc. fee is higher ($100 vs. $49)? Or I'm guessing that location was a factor?

| Responding to the query about the SE Manual, I have an offer for 17,000 + $250 Doc fee + TTL in southwest Ohio for this model. It appears all dealers are charging doc processing fee in my area. | |
