Babycute, I don't follow the prices of Accords these days, so I don't know if your price is good or not.

I suggest you ask others what they are paying for the car you want and determine exactly how much you are willing to pay.

Then go to a dealer and make an offer. If they accept, but the car.

If they don't accept your offer, then leave. Increae your offer by $100 and try some where else.

I think what you called invoice, is really MSRP or the sticker price.

There is also a dealers invoice cost, and if you pick up the car at the car's invoice cost minus 1000, that would be an excellent deal...and good luck trying to get it!

Hi, I finally pulled the trigger yesterday and I wanted to thank all of you for the help. I've never posted before but I've been absorbing info here for awhile and used that to help me get my price. Here is the breakdown:
Vehicle price - 22007
Proc. charge - 99
MD tax - 1105.30
e-reg and titl. 20
tire recy. - 4
MVA fees (tags) 151
Total OTD - 23386.30
I just wanted to thank everyone again and say, keep posting, this is a great site (unless your a salesman!)

No kiawah, I am talking dealer invoice. I know theyre getting $750 cash from Honda. IDK how they're going lower but I know they are. Sticker/MSRP on the SE I described is (laughable) $21,650 or something.

I am in the same boat (car) that is. Efficiency, economy, value and plain sensible. A few more bits of info, we have three small kids, we did the showrooms last night. With two car seats in the back and one sitting in the middle, both models (Accord and TL) back seats are contoured for 2 adults, so they guide the passenger away from the door by these "???" in the seat backs that make the car seat bases (boosters) hard to place squarely against the seat back near the door. What this does is slide the kids toward the middle seat making the middle child cramped and a bit squished. The CRV seat backs dont do this, and that allows much more room for only 1 inch wider space. the seat backs on the CRV are flat. Anyway, salesperson said the TL is wider, but I didnt see much difference. The other tidbits +$12K in price, + $200 insurance, + $600 in gas (annually) at 15000 miles makes it a lot of money for a little more sport. I appreciate the feedback however-

your "???" are bolsters, I imagine.

Stupid question for other new Accord (4cyl) buyers: your 5-spoke rims: do they line up with each other? That is, if the front rim has a spoke pointed straight vertically, should the rear one have the same orientation? Mine doesn't, not sure if it's wrong or I'm too picky or if it's not possible w/ a LSD or something.

A rear tire will travel less distance going around a turn than a front tire... No.. your alloy wheels will not remain in the same position... I doubt they were in the same position to start with.
