In many ways I liked and still do like the TSX, but I couldn't justify spending more money for two less cylinders, 40 less hp, and premium fuel requirement. My thoughts are still the same now. Sure there are some features in the Acura line that I would like to have, namely HID lights, bluetooth integration, etc, but for the most part the Accord has what I want at a price that is tough to beat. And I don't really have a problem with that. I think now more than ever, it's becoming more and more difficult to justify buying a luxury marque when the standard models have near luxury features. Acura has to have model specific features to differientiate itself from the Honda line, but unfortunately I'm not going to shell out an additional 5-7k for premium features. If price wasn't a factor, of course I would be willing to purchase an Acura TL or TSX, but me like most people a couple grand more isn't a drop in the bucket. I think the Accord V6 6MT is one of the best deals going. I thought that a few years back when the 6MT model first came out. Sure its not a RWD sports car but to be able to get a solid V6 with great features and the Honda name for 23,500, to me it seemed like a no brainer. |

Got a quote from 3 different dealerships in Norcal, ranging between $22939-$23200 +TTL. I ended up purchasing for $23200 + TTL simply because the dealership I chose had the color I wanted right then and there, and didn't try to dance with me with unncessary doc fees/security fees/bal bla MSRP - $26950 Invoice - $24,253 $750 cash back fac rebate True Invoice price not counting dealer holdback- $23503 Any thoughts if I paid a fair price?

Hi, I am buying a new car for the first time.I have researched the invoice price for Accord 06 Ex-AT with leather to be 22496 and MSRP 24950. With Invoice price being the same across all sites and i know there is 750 incentive other than the floorplan and holdback, what is the starting price point I should have with dealers. Any help is highly appreciated as I would be talking to dealers tomorrow. Thanks.
