Is that a good monthly payment for 06 EX V6? 0.00089 MF, $24,7xx total cap cost (incl. all fees), 58% residual, dealer in SoCal. The intial payment is something like $575 (total). Replying to: ciccofish (May 21, 2006 11:03 am) What dealership did you receive the $22,145 quote from?   If you back out the processing and destination charges, that brings your base cost to $21,306. Not a bad price at all, particularly if you take into account that the sales tax for cars in Virginia is 3%, as opposed to the 5% sales tax on cars in Maryland. That means $21,945 (VA) versus $22,171 (MD), a difference of $226. If tax is calculated with destination and processing included, that brings the foregoing totals to $22,809 (VA) versus $22,853, which isn't that much. Personally, I don't care if the difference comes out of the dealership's pocket or the state's pocket...as long as it doesn't come out of mine. Replying to: anzial (May 22, 2006 1:30 am) to me that's a good price of $275 a month plus tax... i assume this is 3 years at 12K miles per year? if i could get that lease on a V6 coupe manual transmission, i'd take it, or even a bit higher since i would go for 15K miles a year. anyone know if that's possible in ohio with nothing more than the acquisition fee as a down payment?

I thought I would ask you knowledgeable car people if my negotiating strategy sounds reasonable. I've already test-driven this car and will buy it somewhere. My plan is to offer them (Edmunds invoice-$750-some percentage of holdback+TTL). What percentage of holdback might I want to subtract from my offer? Haven't seen any info about what this car should cost in my part of the country (Carolinas) so this I'm basing this on what others seem to have done in other places. I talked to a Fleet Manager and he gave me 18200+ttl. That's $1000 off invoice. He also gave me a free tint too. There were some posted about caroline area pricing below. Do a search and U will see other posts.
