Honda Deals in the Atlanta Area by gatorsteve

Last month, I bought a '06 Accord EX 4-dr 4-cyl Auto Sedan for $700 under invoice from Milton-Martin Honda in Gainesville, GA. It's the 2nd Accord I've bought from Milton-Martin, and I have to say that those two purchases were the most pleasant car-buying experiences I've ever had. The people at Milton-Martin are extremely friendly, honest, and no-pressure...also, since they're located in a smaller city, they depend on repeat customers & word-of-mouth referrals for much of their business. I've dealt with a number of Honda dealers in the Atlanta area over the years, and they are the best. They will give you a straight-forward, bottom-line price via email and will honor it even if they don't currently have the specific vehicle you want in stock. I live about 1.5 miles from the Honda dealership next to Gwinnett Place Mall, but chose to do business with Milton-Martin, who are 20 miles from my home, because of the night-and-day difference in how these two dealerships treat their customers. I have also bought Accords & Odysseys from Hennessy Honda in Woodstock, and they are also a great dealership who are straight-forward, provide honest pricing via email, and who treat their customers right. If anyone in the Atlanta area is looking for a new Honda, I strongly recommend that they contact Milton-Martin or Hennessy...you won't regret it!

The interest rate... by torr310

The interest rate is high right now and seems going up.
The dealer told me that financing through American Honda rates of 6.29% - 12.39% (last month was 4.90%!)

I wonder if it is a good time to buy it now or probably better to buy it next month.

Thank you for any input.

Could you provide some more details on your Accord SE price quote?

Specifically, did you obtain this quote over the Internet or through a sales person on the lot? Does it include any misc. costs other than the $99 dealer fee? Who is the dealer?

I am in the market for the same vehicle and have been negotiating via the Internet with several area dealers. The absolute best deal I have found is: $19,859 + TTL. This price includes a Trunk Tray, All Weather Mats, Splash Guards and the doc fee.

So, if you figure the cost of my accessories is $200, my price is still about $500 over what you were quoted.

Once other dealers see the deal I mentioned above, they all say "sorry, can't beat that." Maybe it's a regional difference, as I'm in the Cincinnati area.

The two best price quotes were from Urse Honda in Clarksburg, WV and the Washington Honda location in Washington PA. Urse was invoice and Washhington was invoice plus $100. Washington has an internet contact. Go to their website and look up the link with all the sales contacts photos. One lady is the internet person. Email her. Urse did not seem to have an internet contact, so I just used a salesperson. Price ended up the same anyway.

It does seem like everyone who tries gets close to invoice now. Some models (mostly 4 cyl and LX versions) have another 500 incentive to the dealer. So, better deals can be made under invoice on certain models.

Good Luck.

Where did you get the info. on $500 incentives on 4 cyl model Accords? The only incentive listed on Edmunds was for the LX V6.
