Thanks for the respose. It was really helpful. I was also thinking about O'Donnell, so that was good info too.

A Honda dealer in Central Florida special ordered my 2006 Accord EX for me. I ordered it in early November, the car was built in Marysville, OH, and the Accord arrived at the Florida dealership in about 23 days. Before the dealer placed the order, they did attempt to find the specific Accord that I had wanted at other Honda dealerships in my area, but none were available.

psychic,

Thanks for the response! I see and thought they could be ordered from the factory. So based upon your experience a rule of thumb would be a month or so until delivered.... good deal!

We are also looking for a Honda Accord in Baltimore and would welcome hearing details - including best deals and any other recent positive or negative experiences - about local dealers in Baltimore.
Thanks

First of all, I'm a foreiner and living in Raleigh, NC. Because I don't have any credit, I have to buy a car with cash. Unless, the present value amount of money is way too high. Salesmans here already know that I'll pay for it with cash.

The best offer I got ever is $25,233. But I know most Americans buy it below invoice. I remember that the best offer I saw here is around $24,500. I don't know if I can get that kind of achievement here.

If you were me, what do you do? Do I have to go to the big city? I have aquaintance in Philadelphia and New York. Is it good idea? Flying there and coming back with a new car?

Thank you for your advice in advance. Thank you.

I'd say that 25,233 is very fair. That's just slightly over invoice and this is a rare car. Offers of 24,500 are extremely low, and probably have some profit elsewhere like documentary fees. Even if 24,500 is legit, do you really want to fly somewhere and then drive back down the east coast for 700. Plus I guarantee that license and title will be far more hassle. Plus what do you do if the dealer doesn't complete the deal for some reason, or if the car has a dent in it. Not worth the hassle for what is probably less than $700. It's a great car at a very fair price.

I agree that is a fair price as long as it is an out the door price. A dealer does not care if you pay cash or finance as a matter of fact if it were one way or the other you may possibly get a better price if you finance however without any credit you are better off payig cash.
Which dealer offered you that price?
