I got a quote of $21,580 (dest. included); $23,159 out the door in Houston, TX. Is this a good deal? Has anyone found a better one? |

Replying to: tkirby (Feb 27, 2006 3:38 pm) I spent a few days getting email quotes before going into a dealer. My first visit was to O'Donnell in Ellicott City. O'Donnell, thru their participation with the AAA buying program, was offering $450 below invoice right off the bat. Anderson's email quote basically matched that (with no prior mention from me of AAA or the offer from O'Donnell), plus offered some extras without asking. The deciding factors for me: 1. Anderson gave me a much better offer on my trade (2X more than O'Donnell and $1K more than CarMax), 2. Anderson had the exact car I wanted (color, etc.) on the lot. I would have had to wait at least 3 weeks on a car from O'Donnell. Not that that is such a terrible thing, mind you. But after driving it once it was nice to be able to drive it away without waiting! The sales guy who I met first in email, and then in the store, was easy to work with, professional, and made the experience very hassle-free. Re: Financing. I went in with pre-approved financing. I ended up financing thru the dealer at a rate 1.5 points lower than my pre-approved rate. Good luck to you and let me know if you have any more Q's. |

I am in the market to purchase a Honda Accord (EX V6, Auto, Nav, gray) and would like to know if the dealer does not have one what their process would be to get one from the factory for example: does the dealer rely on what Honda sends them or can they ask the factory for a specific one that has been built? and the length of time to receive it.....Thanks.
