TKIRBY, I'm in the Baltimore area myself. So if you find anything good please let me know! As for me, I haven't really started my shopping yet...still just researching and learning from others on this forum among others. But if I find anything I'll be sure to pass it on.

Hello: Just a follow-up...I called the Dealer late Monday and explained that me and my wife really didn't want to spend any more on the new car, at least not ~$1600. The salesperson asked "so you want to exchange the EX-L for the EX that you bought?" I said "yeah, $1600 is too much more right now" (hoping he might ask how much I would be willing to spend). I then asked if my car was ready and he said it wasn't, that maybe tomorrow (Tuesday). I called at lunch on Tuesday and it was ready, so I went and swapped out. After I got there, the sales person asked how many miles it had on it and I told him 364...I thought he was gonna blow a gasket. I told him I drove it just as I would have driven the other car...
Anyhow, the only thing I'm not sure about now is whether I really got the V6 Wheels/tires at "Dealer Cost" The wheels were $188 each (sounded about right) but the Michelin Pilot HX MXM4 tires were $204 each...That's from the Tire Distributor but the Pilot Sports A/S that I had on my Passat were only $200 each...Me getting these at cost was part of the deal so if they re-nig...
I just finished swapping the 16" alloys and 15" steels from the DX VP and tomorrow they are supposed to have the wheels and tires and put them on...Anyone interested in a set of 15" steel/hubcaps from DX VP??
Anyhow...

I just got the EX-L 4 cyl, manual for invoice price or so they told me at the dealer. I went in on Sunday, they offered me $23,255 OTD but I wanted to try another car first before making up my mind. Went back yesterday, they would not honor the price giving me all kind of excuses and trying to play dumb; they did not even know the person who offered me the deal. They guy had told me that he was giving me that price because dealer was getting some kind of incentive. I loved my salesman, hated it the other guys. SOUTH MOTORS HONDA in the Miami area, one of the guys even had the nerve to tell me that sometimes they lie to get the people back in the store.
Anyway, I ended up getting the car for $23,500. I hated it the whole transaction, I already had the financial part ready but with all the hassle I ended up spending close to three hours there. The whole thing was very exasperating.

What is the difference between EX-L 4 cyl & Plain EX 4 cylinder. Cause I bought an EX 2006 with additional options of Rear Wing Spoiler and Moonroof Visor for $22,178.00 +TTL.
