I just bought a 2006 Accord EX with Leather (V4, Auto)in Graphite Pearl for $22700 (including the $550 destination fee). The MSRP on this car is $25500, so I paid $2800 under that. I added a deck lid spoiler (great accessory!) for $390 installed and the front fog lights for $400 installed. I paid roughly $150 for a document (or service fee). That was a little higher than other nearby dealerships but I paid a good chunk less for the 2 above accessories than that I would have paid almost anywhere else that I checked. I researched pricing for this car for almost 2 months. I checked all over Wisconsin, Northern Illinois, and Eastern Minnesota. Roughly 15 to 20 dealerships. After all my research and much thought I finally made my purchase at Lakeland Honda in Sheboygan, WI. The internet sales person was excellent to work with. They also found me great interest rate of 4.8%, slighly better than what I could have gotten at my credit union (5.19%) I highly recommend this dealership. I drove about 80 extra miles but it was well worth it to save $300-$500 compared to dealerships closer to my home. I also would maybe recommend checking out Russ Darrow in Milwaukee. They claim that they match any price by 110%, however they would not give me an actual figure via email. I didnt feel like driving to Milwaukee to save an extra $100, but it may be worth a thought.

I am going to purchase a EX-V6 on Wednesday. It just came in on Sat. I paid a deposit to reserve the Carbon Bronze Pearl/Ivory a few weeks ago. I asked that the vehicle not be shown or driven. The salesperson stated there would a total of 14 to 15 miles on the car for inspection purposes. Does this sound normal? Also, I paid an OTD price of $26629.00. After reading the various post, I feel my price is somewhat high. In my area, this was the lowest price of approximately eight internet quotes. What are your thoughts on both the mileage and price?

I got a quote over the weekend of $300 over invoice ($23,441 sale price). I'm interested in this car because my 2005 LX V6 doesn't have the Vehicle Stability Assist (I should have waited for the '06). Anyway, the dealer is allowing $18,500 for my trade (I guess about right) that has 7,200 miles on it. Drive out is owing a difference of $5,491 with fees and tax. I would like to get the car since my 2005 is paid off and the '06 has the VSA. I'm debating if spending this extra money is worth it or I can probably get a loaded '06 Sonata for $2500 less than the '06 Accord. I went on an Electronice Stability Control website that had video scenarios with cars with ESC turned on and off. It made a believer out of me. Thank you.
