Awesome time to be getting one of these cars. Just got my black/black 2.0t quattro(no other options) for 28,500+TTL= about 31,100. LOVING it, btw... much better than my IS 250(even though the IS came fully loaded)...

| New to the board....I'm considering leasing an 09 A4, it'll be my first Audi..and was wondering whether anyone has any experience with the PDX area dealership? Thanks.. | |

Hi - I am new to the board and had a question to ask everybody. I have a standing offer with a dealer here in Chicago, IL for a new Audi A4 2.0 Quattro with Premium Plus and Navigation. The offer is to buy at 2.9% financing. Dealer offer is: $37,990 Dealer Invoice: $37,604 I want to negotiate closer to the TMV price of $36,114, do you think this is possible? And do you think the price I received is too much, granted I am looking for an A4 that is black on black with navi and premium plus and this dealership out of the 3 I have gone to was the only one to have the car.

This price over invoice should be the same for the 09 or 10 models. 2) try to refuse to pay the "dealer administrative fee"...the price you negotiated is the price you're willing to pay over invoice. Doesn't matter if it's preprinted on the form....tell them that your bottom line before taxes, title and registration is the price you negotatiated in step 1. 3) Then discuss how much marketing incentive money there is and deduct it from the dea you just negotiatedl. By doing it this way you don't let them to blow smoke by using the marketing incentive to let you think that you're getting a good discount.
