Replying to: ilikeike (Jul 15, 2009 10:32 pm) That said, I did another TMV as of 2 minutes ago and guess what? Avant + Premium Package + Metallic paint and a few other small options (same configuration as of 5/21) is now $35,250! That's less than 2 months ago and now it looks like I paid $750 OVER TMV rather than $1,600 under. If I said I could get the car for $1,500 under TMV TODAY, that would indeed be an impressive deal and would price the car at $33,750. Time should be factored into your research since TMV moves around (and by quite a bit as of lately). So could I have done better? I dunno. I also got $1,000 cash back (after the $36,000) and my first two payments paid for. Did others get similar deals? TMV won't show that. Don't try and read too much into these things...you'll just go crazy saying "what if?" Stop looking at these forums and enjoy the car... |

| 2010 prices have been announced and cars should start to flow from the docks any day. In many cases, no change...but memory seats and auto day/night mirror have moved to the prestige package from the premium package....and the symphony radio has apparently disappeared altogether. The prestige option is not available on the 2wd models but it does include nav and backup camera on the 4wd's.. | |

| New poster here. It's end of the line for 3.2 A4 production but I have driven both the 2.0 and 3.2 and liked the smoothness of the bigger engine even if it's less fuel efficient. I have a sales quote on a new 3.2 Prestige with Navigation and Audi Care included for $38,500 (MSRP around $47,000). I just loved driving this -- I am a fool to get the larger engine? Thanks, Tim | |

I am finding it incredibly hard to locate any 2009 Avant Prestige models. I did find one, which is exactly what we want in Meteor Gray, although is also has the S-line extras we don't really need. I will be financing it, and the price I am being quoted is $41,627 at 5.49% APR for 60 months with $10,000 down, for a total of $672/mo including all taxes and fees, or $44,127 at 2.9% APR for 60 months with $10,000 down, for a total of $678/mo including fees and taxes. The MSRP for this package is $46,450, the invoice is $43,256, and the TMV is $41,534. I have a feeling it would be much easier to negotiate on a more common Premium or Premium Plus model, but my wife really would like the Prestige model if we can get it at a decent price. Thoughts? Thanks! Peter |
