Price for our SR5 PM order by mentor34

I'm at work, don't have the papers in front of me, but I believe that the dealers invoice total was $39,500, + $1,000 = $40,500. SR5, PM, Alloy #2, Sunroof, DVD, 17", DRL, Side bags, keyless, rear load leveling, other stuff I don't remember. I have noticed since placing the order that the DVD requires an upgraded stereo, which we did not include in our order, so I'm expecting the price to go up a few hundred more. I peeked at the dealers folder when he was doing the manager shuffle, and he had a Dealer Cost column, an Invoice comumn, and a Retail column. The difference in Cost to Invoice did seem to be about $1,000.

Buying in Canada by paigeiam

How do you go about buying a Sequoia in Canada? It seems as if the prices are better. Can you apply for credit there or do you go up there with your financing prearranged? Thanks for the help!

I'm stepping down a notch or two from you guys...going after SR5 with AH,CQ,AC plus several other smaller opts putting me in $37K-$38K MSRP range.(Just too old for sun roofs and DVD's I guess)
However, need your input on 2 things:
Whats big advantage of 17" over 16" wheels(ride, stability)?
Anyone check on aftermarket leather? (costs 1200-1400 thru dealer and they gave references on customers who swear it is as good or better than factory)
I guess all of you noticed Toy website changed option pkgs on SR5 "AGAIN" today.

Looking at sk123 & mentor34 orders, sounds like they got to pick and choose. All I get when visiting is "lets see whats on the locator", even when I tell them I can wait 30-60 days. Have you had similar experiences or is it just me?

I have heard similar thing to you........lets see what comes in, I have also heard "I think we can get you exactly what you want, but you will have to wait." I am really getting frustrated and dont really have much confidence in any of the dealers I have spoken to. When it is time for me to buy I will be armed with all my info, option codes and any pricing I can find. I expected better from Toyota....I didnt have this much trouble with Nissan and Infiniti! Mike

I cancelled my order and got my deposit back
Any body knows about ad charge. One dealer says
there is an ad charge of 760 for SR5 which is part of invoice price
He gave me an offer of 39200 final price plus freight charge + 249 proceesing fee + tag +title+tax
This is not custom order
The configuration is same as in my previous post
16" wheels, disc changer, pm ....

No dvd or 17" wheels or rload levelling suspension
This quote is less than 1250 from my previous order
Any comments

Since this 03 pricing, I couldn't even guess what config. is or is not available in your region... also edmunds, kbb, nor anyone else has invoice...yet. I know you hated to cancel and sure you are as frustrated as the rest of us.I am so *#$&# #*#, this morning test drove an Acura MDX(which no dealer discounts below MSRP)(also Consumer Reports will have next month as their top rated large SUV).For a so called "luxury SUV" the MDX is not even in the same league with Sequoia(ride, handling,or power)So......I'm back on board with you guys.
Suggest use Toyota website to find your pkg.(MSRP),then use old kbb or edmunds to estimate invoice.think all posters above are looking at 4X4, so my 4X2 est.wouldn't fit anyway. Good luck.
