Replying to: trek87 (Dec 14, 2005 2:04 pm) just a long overdue update in case anyone searches and finds this thread...the squeaking was my serpentine belt. it turns out my belt tensioner was worn out and had to be replaced. the squeaking was due to improper belt tension. a simple repair.   went ahead and replaced all 4 shocks and man, what a pleasant improvement on all-around ride and handling (esp. on turns - not nearly as much lean). well worth $40/mopar shock. ok i have Just Emptied Every Pocket (jeep) replaced ccps,tps,radiator, put electric fan on, new power steering pump, new hoses,new water pump, new transmission, new fuel filter, Spark plugs,cap, rotor button, electonic pick up under rotor button now my question is when i drive normal it is fine but as soon as i try to pass it starts chugging like i'm going on and off with the throttle. Also does it in park idling and throw the throttle to it full and it does it just like before what could this be? fuel press. reg.? fuel injectors, electrical, cat conv? Got any ideas. Replying to: axe101x (Mar 27, 2009 1:30 pm) I had this issue. Mine would chug like this when passing and eventually when I was just driving down the road normally. It was the o2 sensor. I think the part was the upstream sensor, located before the cat/converter. The part was around $70. Go to a autoparts store and use their computer code reader. You should be able to pick up an error code if the sensor is bad.   The chuggin freaked me out and I'm so happy it's gone.

Replying to: axe101x (Mar 27, 2009 1:50 pm) Maybe too rudamentery, but have you replaced the fuel filter? Also, if you have access to a fuel pressure gauge, you might get some clues there. The reading should be constant even when you rev the engine. If not, you might have a tired fuel pump, clogged filter, or dripping (leaky) injector seals.   Good luck --- Clip

new fuel filter none of the injector seals leak found a leaking vacuum line fixed it but still acts like it loading up or hitting a rev limiter sometimes it will pop back thru carb(throttle body) please help me i need this fixed. no codes on scan tool motor or trans. it will only go to 3500 rpm's before it acts up.
