HI.. my a/c just went out. Spent $160. at first place, and it was blowing nothing but hot air. Next stop was $1000. and now the a/c works sometimes. It used to blow cold on setting number 2, and now I have to run it at setting #4 to get the same flow... it is so noisy we can't visit or hear radio. WE also had that motorcycle sound in the beginning and got that fixed under warranty. They knew exactly what we were talking about on that repair. Car has 117K miles on it now. Had much trouble with brake pedal pulsating. That took 3 times to get repaired and they claimed it was a $1200. part to repair it finally. Also, since the a/c repair, the car seems to not have any power when I put the gas pedal down. Don't know if it's connected or not. Car has to go back in to get the a/c issues resolved. OTHER than that, keeping the car is easier than buying another car. Good luck.

New to this forum, as I have just inherited an '02 w/109K from my brother. I haven't reviewed these pages to see if there is feedback on the several 'little' problems the van is experiencing, including the SRS warning light being on all the time. What I need right now is upholstery and padding replacement for the driver's seat, which has the 8-way electric adjustment. Anybody out there got suggestions? Thanks.

Hi Mike, I had the same SRS airbag light stays on problem. Hope Micheal above can let us know what was wrong with the buckle and how was it fixed. As for your upholstrey repair, I would suggest to by a used seat such as this as an example: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/02-KIA-SEDONA-VAN-OEM-FRONT-SEAT-DRIVERS-LH_W0QQc- mdZViewItemQQ_trksidZp3286Q2ec0Q2em14QQhashZitem58826e8a2bQQitemZ380145404459QQp- tZMotorsQ5fCarQ5fTruckQ5fPartsQ5fAccessories As for the bumpy ride we've talked about in the earlier threads, after I replaced the struts and an alignment adjusted in Sears Auto the ride was still rough. Guess what, I redo the alignment at a local sharp where the mechanic took an hr and have it ride vibration free as smooth as my Honda Odyssey when new. hope this helps, Bruce |
