this car is as base as you can get-4 cyl with roof rack and 60 mi on the speedo. driveout price included everything. no financing. gave them a check and a '98 f150 supercab with faded paint, rusty bed, and a check engine light on for trade-in. KBB has this truck valued at about 2500K for a trade-in.

Well...the issue is that Toyota is offering a $1000 rebate on all Highlanders in other regions. In your region, they're only offering a rebate on the Hybrid version. So, given that, you did pretty good, paying about $300 more than the Edmunds TMV. In a region like the midwest, you'd be able to get about another $1000 off.

2009 Highlander Sport gas mileage by nsteffens

I just bought a 2009 Highlander Sport with the v6 engine. I am a little frustrated because the sticker gives mpg as 18/24. I just looked at my average mpg and it says 16.3. I just got rid of my Mercedes ML 350, which is supposed to get worse gas mileage, but the average for my Mercedes has averaged better that the Highlander thus far. I do probably 2/3 city and 1/3 hwy driving. Any suggestions?

2009 Highlander cabin vibrates on cold engine start by docmartin76

I just purchased a new Toyota Highlander limited fwd a few weeks ago. I noticed after a few days that there is significant cabin vibration on a cold engine start. It happens when I put it in reverse or drive, but not so much in neutral. After I drive it for a few minutes the problem seems to go away. I did some research and saw some forums with similar posts on the 2008 models, but I never saw anyone get a satisfactory resolution to the issue. Does anyone else have this same problem? If so, did you get it fixed? I would appreciate any info I can give to the dealership to have them try to correct the issue.

I am having the same problem. There are very few Limiteds avail. I can't even get dealers to call me back. I was not expecting that. Guess we keep our MDX for a little while longer.

Hi,

I just bought a Highlander sport V6, FWD with Value package 5, Sun Roof, Tow package, anti-theft for a 0%, 60 month drive out price including all options and taxes for $33, 877. The dealer had tinted the windows and pinstriped as well as filled the tires with Nitrogen. The car was bought for $3000 below MSRP.

How much did the dealer get me for? Is this a fair price? The car was bought in phoenix.

Hi - I'm looking to close a deal that will have me pay about $30,000 (with 1k rebate) for the sport AWD v6 with the value package #5. How does that compare to what you are seeing? Thanks.

HI, I paid 33, 800 out the door including tax, title etc, with Toyota financing for 60 months with 0% interest. I have a sun roof which is a 800 dollar option. Is the price you mentioned with or without taxes?
