Help with offer by findme

I'd love to get some help from all the experts on this forum! I am interested in an 08 4WD HIghlander sport. The MSRP is 38, 232 and the internet price is 31, 988. It has everything except nav. It has leather, sunroof, dual air, rear air, JBL, crossbars, tow package, etc. Again, loaded except for nav. What would be a fair offer? I had made an offer to another dealership that was never accepted, so I do want to be fair. I want the best possible price however! Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Where do you live? If it in the South East, you should be able to get this for under 30K. See my post on the last page. I got the basically the same thing you are looking for and paid $29,500 in North Carolina.

I live in KY. I wish we had the 5000 rebate. We only have 2000 here. I haven't looked at your post yet. Did you get it for 29, 500 OTD? Wow!

No not otd. I think the price was actually 29,411 +++ it ended up being about 30,500. Go to Jim Barkley's internet site and price it. Go there and get it or have them delivered. As posted on the last few pages, they are more than reasonable with delivery fees. 300 to Richmond, VA or 500 to DC.

I checked out the website. They don't have the color that I like, but they do have good prices. Did you get a price below the selling price or is the selling price pretty firm? I'd love to get it even lower if possible. A lower price just might make me be happier with not getting my color choice!
I'm a bit scared of buying a vehicle 12 hours away from my home, but it sounds like this dealership is pretty popular on the board.

Asheville is 6 hours away from me so I was lucky enough to find a a couple dealers to match their price and Leith Toyota beat it by a couple hundred in Raleigh (3 hours away). Since then I found out that they deliver for a very reasonable price and posted that on the board. You should call them to find out if they are getting any your color. They are supposed to get more.

Thanks, I did look at that website, but they didn't have the color either. Since they are even a greater distance from my home, I may just go with a less liked color. Is the Asheville dealership's sale price their bottom line deal or will they negotiate a lower price?

Is this a good price for Sport 4WD with Leather? by pilot21078

I found a 2008 Sport 4WD in wave line pearl with leather interior, towing prep package, with bluetooth/9 speaker JBL system for 29,651 before taxes, tags, processing fee. The on the road price I was quoted was 31,919. It seems pretty much in line with edmunds.com TMV pricing. I'm thinking it's a pretty good deal but was wondering what others on the board thought of this pricing. Can I do better?

I'm not sure if the Asheville dealer will lower their price. They told me they wouldn't but maybe they would to match a price. If they are the lowest, there is now reason for them to go lower.
