Replying to: enxaga (Sep 16, 2008 10:10 am) Prices vary substantially in each particular trimline for the Highlander, in order to get a response from other forumers would be to list some of the other items it come with ie third row seat, etc, etc if any. These other items sometimes add (or subtract) $$ to the sticker. Base prices, from what I have seen fluctuate up to 3 to 4 thousand from car to car. Just a thought... |

Finally, I have been able to find a Toyota representative that was able to give some info about the 2009 release. This came not from a dealer but rather a Toyota Corp national rep. involved with what is termed "Toyota Experience" or more simply put a consumer liason. The Highlander will be on a national release basis in November (no specific date yet), however there will be a "limited" release in regions where in demographic areas where demands are high in October (no specific date). Also for those interested in the Venza, the limited release is beginning in "matter of weeks" and national release in November. Trimline pricing on the Venza should be available on Toyota.com "very soon" There you have it. As I have posted in the recent past, my opionion on buying/leasing a 2008, the dealers will have no choice but to become more aggressive with model year end incentives/pricing simply because inventory of the 2008 in most dealships is plentiful. Use this info to either leverage a better deal on 2008 (or wait for an '09) |

Replying to: dol1 (Sep 10, 2008 8:49 am) Once I get the paperwork with the final numbers I will post. apprx. what it looks like is: sport with: leather/heated seats package towing package cold weather jbl/bluetooth package Moonroof crossbars homelink 3rd row Mats invoice 31,0000ish... the autoland price is invoice or 1% above invoice. No haggle at all , just walk in tell them what you want and they find the car for you and deliver it to the bank. when I pick it up the rep said it would take no more than 10 minutes for all the paperwork and they fill it up with a tank of gas. I have just been waiting to see if there will be any more incentives or cash bonuses... |

We should team up to get the best price. Offering a dealership two Highlander sales instead of one will give us more leverage! Our purchase window is flexible so consider the offer and send me an email if interested. (dmiric |

I have been quoted a pre-tax price of 26,100 for an AWD Base with preferred accessories package. Is this a good end-of-year price? If not, what would you consider a good price of end-of-year?
