Replying to: anand4 (Dec 29, 2005 9:18 am) We just ordered an 06 HL V6 2WD with alloy wheels power driver seat,fog lamps today in Augusta, GA. with $1250 rebate (expires on 1/03/06) and year end dealer discount of $2550, the price is $24,100+tax+fees. The year end discount is supposed to be for the cars on their lot only, but we got a good discount anyway. We have known our sales person for years, and he tried his best to help us to get a good price from his manager.   Try to go to a city with more than one dealer near by and get more than one quote. We have another dealer within 25 miles, but we did not go there because we think we probably already got as good a deal as we can for this popular model.   Good luck. If there is anyone reading this from the Richmond Virginia or Central Virginia area, what is the best price you've gotten on a V-6 Limited Highlander 2 WD? Have any of you negotiated the "processing fees" which seem to vary from $149-$249 depending on dealership? The invoice price according to Edmunds is $29,872 with leather, heated seats, towing prep, etc. What are the dealers making on the back end either from financing or the holdbacks? Before 1/03/2006 there is a $1250 reabate on Highlander plus year-end discount. So we just went ahead and bought the Highlander.

The TMV cost for this model (w/o the nav system) is $41782. I purchased 05 HL v6 4WD $26500 + tax+license with following options. sunroof/moonroof,side curtain air-bags 16-inch wheels,Towing package weather package,rear spoiler 8-speaker JBL system,audio controls on steering wheel Sticker price was $32500 and it was the last 05 left so dealer went down to this price. I like the car very much. Is this a good price or I got ripped off?
