I'm purchasing a 2005 Highlander Ltd with Tow prep pkg., leather heated seats, extra value package and carpet mats for $29,900 out the door. I'm in upstate SC. I should be able to pick it up in a week.

Replying to: metazone (Aug 20, 2005 10:21 am) I was suprised the dealer only charged $45 doc fee. I am glad they did not try to get me to pay for window etching or other ridiculous dealer add ons. Financing was 3.95% 60 mos. I was pre approved through a credit union. What was interesting is that the dealer would only give me this price if I did the loan through CUDL. I could not sign the loan papers at the Credit Union. When they do the loan through the CUDL computer the dealer makes 1% on the deal. CUDL = (credit union direct lending) People should ask to speak to the Fleet Manager when they call a dealer on the phone. That way you get to skip some of the games the salesman play. MSRP: $29,248 Price after rebate before tax & lic.: $25,023 Out the door: $27,375 We bought the V6 fwd w/3rd row seat. EH,AG,HE,JY,LF,TO + carpet mat set and chrome exaust tip.

HI guys: I live in houston and want to buy a new 2005 Highlander 4X2 v6 3.3 L. When I tried to contact a local dealer, they gave me the following quote 2005 Toyota Highlander w/out third row, DJ, NE, PE, PG, TO and M5 carpet mat set. The quote price is 24,547.00 (already include cashback) without tax, title and license fee. I built in it in edmunds and it only goes to 24,156 before 800$ cash rebate. So I think this price is high, but I am not sure since the dealer wrote back to me and said I should count destination and Toyota advertising chage. Can anyone give some suggestion. Best wish
