Replying to: iberv (May 09, 2005 10:13 am) re: V6 vs 4cyl....I chose V6 due to higher expectations on resale value. Recent round trip to Vegas returned 25mpg overall...about 50 miles of city driving in Vegas, and A/C use at all times. AND, I don't drive slowly... Very satisfied....

| 2005 HL w/ LP, SR, HE, JY, AG, EJ and a few other small options; MSRP of $34,100. Paid $29,800 at IRA in Danvers. But be warned, they are relentless with the extended warranty sales pitch. It took 30 minutes of refusing to buy it before we finally told them if they offered it one more time, we were walking out. | |

For the ones of hyou that are getting prices $3,000+ under invoice, can you share if you are having to negotiate heavily to get this price or make several trips to the dealership you bought from in order to get it as well. I can't seem to get the SE Toyota Dealers to budge off MSRP so was just curious. Maybe it is just the SE dealers are hard nosed and won't budge or we are going to have to dig in harder to get a better price. Buying a car shouldn't have to be this hard and vary this much!

I am getting a quote of 25,800 + 300(conveyance) for a V6 AWD Highlander with FE,EH,LF,RL,AG,ZI in Connecticut. This is in line with the Edmunds TMV but seems a little more than some of the prices that I have seen on this board. Can anyone provide feedback on prices paid in Connecticut? |

People, In your experience, who is the best dealer in Atlanta to buy a Limited V6 highlander (in terms of ease of dealing with, customer service and inventory). Thanks. |

I bought a 05 Highlander(4 cyl / fwd) for $22,500(drive out price) with 5.9% ARP in Atlanta, GA. It is silver and has PE PG TO FE. Because I am a foreign studnet not having a good credit history, I did not get such a good interest rate. I think, however, the drive out price $22,500 was not bad, isn't it? Thanks for your information.

I have been reading through these messages and they are quite interesting. I have a few questions though. Is there a key to the options listed with initials? I can figure out some but not all. I am looking for a Highlander with Nav, from what I understand that means I have to go with the limited and pretty high end. Is it hard to find these and is there and more or less negotiating room at the high end? WIll I be limited in color choice? I like Salsa Red, or Silver. Thank you
