Replying to: redredrabbit (Jul 14, 2009 8:53 am) The 17,515 is just the price of the car before any taxes or fees and before the CFC. so OTD with taxes DMV and fee's should be around 20,000, then minus the 4,500 CFC i'll be around $15,500 As for the Kenwood, just go to kenwoods website or crutchfeild.com and look at the different models they have that fit into the honda civic. You can spend as anywhere between 700 and 1400 depending on what features you want. Just do some research and find a reputable car stereo shop in your area. They should be able to get the stereo you want, get the dashboard faceplate and do the installation. Make sure you find a good shop, that is very important. |

I've been going around with some internet quotes the past few days and think I am getting a decent deal with not too much haggling. With the 1000 cash back to the dealer I am getting quotes in the 15495 range. Throw in destination, TTR and the best I have found so far is 17517. They will throw in Remote Starter or Oil Changes up to 75k for 200 more. Think I am doing OK here? I chose Civic over the Mazda3 because Im thinking it will hold up better over time. |

| I received a quote today of 239 tax included on 2009 civic Lx AT sedan/coupe for 3 yr/36k...with just 239 down at lease signing...It seems like a fair deal ..Anybody do a similar deal recently..? Lease prices are hard to judge whether they are too high or low..Any feedback would be welcomed... | |
on 6/6/09 we bought a new 2009 Civic LX sedan with AT for $16390, including all dealer fees, but not including sales tax. It took about 10 minutes to negotiate. The dealer started at $16800 citing the $1000 incentive, we countered and they accepted. They tried tacking on an additional $150 mandatory processing fee, but backed down when we said we would not pay this.

Replying to: isellhondas (Jul 14, 2009 2:26 pm) There are "Mickey Mouse" units out there, however most of the ones I looked at blew the honda factory units out of the water and for a quarter of the price. If the deciding factor for me was "does the unit accept voice commands" (which the kenwood I picked out does, by the way) i would get a $250 dollar garmin nuvi as opposed to a $2000 Factory unit. $1000 is alot to spend to get voice commands, no? Like I said, I like my $1000 better when its in my bank account than Honda's, and I can have a better unit installed. ...Just my opinion
