Usually they dont quote OTD price on email, you have to ask them to quote the OTD price with cost breakdown. The OTD price should arround $19000 here in Bay Area...tax is high & near 10% here >< Did you send email to dealers and get the quote again?? Not yet... |

Typically, the residual value is set artificially lower than it should be- in which case buying this car at the end of the lease term would be a great deal for you! Especially if the lease states the residual value at $11k but the car is actually worth $14k. The lease will show either the process required to transfer the contract or at least have a phone number to call to get the info. Typically, leases require a certain down payment at lease signing. If all he wants you to do is take over the $260/mo payment (no down payment), it would be hard to go wrong with this deal! It sounds like a great deal for you! |

I have been looking for either an Accord or Civic. Has anyone gotten any good deals on the Civic LX-S in the tri-state area? I looked at a Civic last week and the dealership I went to didn't seen to want to negotiate on prices. Anyone have a better experience?

I bought a si coupe with no options or accessories in last month. Here is my deal. I paid $19500 for the car price including the destination charge. With all the tax and DMV fees(OTD) I paid $21600. (by the way I'm ignoring the last 2 digits of the prices since I can't remeber exactly..) I didn't paid any kind of dealer doc fees but only those DMV ones. I also got financed and it was 3.9% for 60 mo. The tax rate here is 9.75%(LA) now but it was 9.25% when I took the car out. |

Hi, I'm helping a friend search for a Civic Coupe EX automatic in the Los Angeles, CA, area. So far, the lowest quote that I have received is $17,670 + TTL. I have not been able to find a dealer who will beat this price. What do you folks think of the quote that I have been getting? Thanks! |

| Does anyone know if the 1000 incentive in civic coupe this month can be used as down payment on a lease..? The ad states 199 mo and 1399 down on a 2009 civic lease..Will a dealer take the 1000 as a down pament?? thanks for any feedback.. | |
