| Does anyone know the April incentives for the Civic? Based on recent posts, seems like dealers had added incentive to move Civics as prices dropped in recent weeks. | |

I got a good deal at Ron Norris Honda in Titusville, FL. Went through the internet sales person (John Dunn) and got a fair price quote on the first e-mail. Still got the same price when I showed up in person - LOL. I paid $17,550 (including the dealer fee), plus tax/tag/title. Very satisfied with the experience and with the car, so far. Have only had it for a week, knock on wood. |

Today was the 1st day looking at Honda's for my daughter. Initially was looking for the most basic Civic with A/C. Went to the dealer and got the following deal which I thought was really good but now after seeing some of the LX pricing I am wondering. Were there special rebates in place for the 1st quarter ending??? They only have low financing now... FYI I have no trade in and my own financing. My Deal 2009 Civic DX-VP Auto = 16,000 +TTL + 240 dealer fee Negotiated all of the following items to be added to the price for free Paint Guard - 5yr Upholstery Guard - 5 yr Window Tint - Lifetime Mudflaps Nitrogen in tires Trunk Tray I know most of that is worthless and thats why I refused to pay for it. Please help I would like to buy a Civic for my daughter birthday on Friday. |

Replying to: dhightower (Apr 02, 2009 9:05 pm) 16000 for a DX is too much. As you indicate, people are getting LXs for that. Adding worthless, high margin, stuff doesn't help. As far as I can see, the incentives are the same now as in March. Rather than rebates, Honda likes to give "incentives" to the dealers--for the LX it's $500. My advice: give your daughter a "card" that says you'll get her a car--and tell this dealership--or another--to forget those "extras--and buy the LX for the same 16,000. Good Luck
