Has anyone had experience in purchasing a Civic LS 4door automatic in the Miami area? I would be interested in price paid and dealership experience.

Hi! I just wanted to step in and say I bought a 2009 Honda Civic EX two-door coupe from Autowest Honda, Roseville CA on the 15th of this month.

My advice is to go through the internet department! I was quoted $18,225 + TTL for my Civic and I thought it was fair. I wanted the Royal Blue Pearl and the internet manager was more than happy to do a dealer trade at no cost. Unlike other dealers, he did not require a down payment or any additional charges.

Not only that but I noticed 3 very small dings on the driver's side door a few days later. I arranged to bring the car in, it was fixed with NO hassle and I even had a paid for rental car. I know that this service should be expected but I *rarely* deal with companies that don't want to fight about something.

So, in review, I loved my experience at Autowest Honda but *only* through the internet department. My sales guy was awesome and actually responded to my emails with tons of information instead of the usual "just come on in!"

A reporter is hoping to connect with people who recently bought a new vehicle and intend to drive it on vacation in the coming months. Please respond to jfallonedmunds.com no later than March 31, 2009, and be sure to note what vehicle you purchased and what you think will make it functional and fun during your vacation.
Thanks,

I haven't purchased the tag yet but with fees and all should be right at $100. Taxes are 3.25% of purchase price unless it is 20% below MSRP than it is 3.25% of msrp. If you search the Oklahoma Tax Commision you can get a complete breakdown.

Been working with some dealers on/off in Chicagoland via email. Have just received updated pricing from both of them (unsolicited) that the Civic prices have dropped $750 for higher end and $500 for lower end. I'm seeing as an example, Civic EX AT is $20775 MSRP and is now $17275 (includes shipping) add your own ttl and doc fee. invoice is $19185, so that's nearly $1800 below invoice. EXL and up are nearly $3k below invoice.

Carguy94,

Here in orlando dealers are offering the lx for 16,089.00. I will think the lx-s should be around 16,500.00. The only problem here is central florida is that dealers charge 599.00 doc fee. How much do dealers in South Florida charge for Doc fee?
