My wife and I got a fantastic deal from Markley Honda in Fort Collins on a new 2009 Civic EX-L. The entire experience at the dealer was great by any standard, especially since most dealers would consider us to be young enough to take advantage of. The test drive went well, we received a price below $2000 below MSRP and were treated well throughout the experience. Anyone in Fort Collins looking for a new Honda need to give Matt Veogtle or Tad Johnson a call.

ouch, that is too bad. But I didn't make out as well as others have here, either. It was in December (fewer hard-core dealios) and my dealer ordered me the car/color (urban titanium LX-S) I wanted, so it felt better to me to sit in mine when no one drove it, other than the lot dude. I even knew right when it was built and shipped, etc. I know I could have done better (at any other dealer) and did get at least an "invoice" offer, and could have worked that better, too. I know others here have beat my price by 1,500 to close to 2k.
But ya can't look back.
Enjoy your car!!!!

If your saying that included in that is, taxes, title, doc. fees, license, then that is a good deal, if your saying interest on financing is included also, then you got a fantastic deal.

Don't be hard on yourself. Just learn from the experience and move on and enjoy your car. There is always someone who got a better price. I just purchased a Honda Civic Si. The car listed for 22,475 and I got 2,000 off thanks to this website. I would not have otherwise because I would not have known how much Honda had to play with. Rather than offer rebates, Honda is smart and comes through the back door, giving dealers incentives. I, too, found extra charges for stripe, mudguards, special wax job as one of the other posts included. I told him that it did not mean anything to me, although it did look sharp. Dealers play games with you and you just have to learn how to play back. That comes with experience. The finance department always hits you with the warranty and they are expensive. I always tell them no but I let them give their presentation. It is a high profit item for them. If I had had a finance guy talk to me that way, I would have torn up the paper work and walked out. That is inexcusable. By the way, I am in Tennessee.

Honda Civic 4dr LX-S Price Fairness

I just talked several dealers down and finally got the best price I could at a dealer in Salem, NH for a 2009 4dr Civic LX-S, royal blue, $16,500 price + $825 taxes + $180 doc fee + $86 for tags...so $17,591 OTD. How does this rate comparitively, is it a good deal?
I have great credit, and one dealer had the nerve to tell me they'd give me the price above, but only with a higher rate (non-Honda) financing. Needless to say I left, and they rescinded the offer today, but it was too late.

My daughter had her mind set on a civic with black interior. After much searching we found only 2 of them had a black interior, and they were both Si with the higher horsepower motor that requires premium gas. If yours has a black interior I would say it is one rare civic. She settled on a Metallic grey EX with grey interior, moonroof, alloy wheels and the spoiler on the back.

Is there something special about the Si fabric? I am picking up the LX-S which comes with the black Si interior, other than color what's the advantage?
