My friend,

I'm not an old geezer and my civic arriving on Feb is exactly like yours; color, type and transmission.

Good for you!

Same here. Still in my 30s I don't consider myself old (maybe some would). My previous Civic was an EX with manual transmission. It may be an illusion, but it just felt "sportier". A lot more fun to drive than any automatic I've had... I feel more involved with the driving experience.

In July 2008 I purchased a Civic Coupe LX in Baltimore, MD and paid $18,600 total. Was this a decent price? Also I turned down all of the dealer provided extras but now I'm thinlking that maybe I should have gotten the undercoating. Was not getting it a bad decision?

Exactly my feelings,

If you watch this video, they review a Civic LX-S automatic and even they mention that it less fun to drive compared to the manual ohh yeah

Don't beat yourself over the price you paid, at the end you made a smart choice by choosing Honda.

I paid 18800 + free tint for an LX-S manual, which is more expensive than the LX,

Anyway, you will survive my friend at least you didn't buy a Cobalt

Nice price! I paid about $750 more in September and my Civic didn't come with the "L" at the tail end.
