Did anyone hear about, or got a better deal on a civic 2009 LX automatic 4 door? Again, that is the price they offered including everything (TTL) Thanks. |

I am in the market for a civic 2009 lx 4 door, Automatic. What do people pay these days, out the door? Also, what are they willing to add. I just got an e-mail for the dealership, saying Honda got some special going on this weekend. Should I wait? appreciate any help I can get |

Hi. I went to a NJ dealer in Old Bridge to look at the 2009 Honda Civic LX. I had contacted them and received an e-mail price of $16,056 on the car. The final out the door price is $18.323.00. This includes everything---tax, fees, etc. I'm not sure if this is the lowest I can go. Does this sound like a good deal? Would appreciate some feedback. I haven't applied for financing yet but I am putting down a large payment and have very, very good credit. Thanks |

| Bought it on the 5th. Had an offer from another dealership for 20,170 which includes destination. Was wanting to get the deal done as Honda's financing was lower than my credit union offered. Dealer offered 20,400 which included destination and included the mudgards. Other dealership was 200 miles away, so accepted this price and took Honda's financing. Other costs were doc fees of 150 and license transfer/title of 80 and sales tax. Very satisfied with the deal. Do appreciate all of the info from these posts and Edmunds in general. Be prepared when you go into the finance and insurance closer. There will be pressure for the extended warranty and you have to say no at least 3 times. They are great salesmen and ask you lead in questions to make their argument. JUST SAY NO NO NO unless you are willing to pay for the warranty and oil changes and other extras they are trying to sell you. thanks to all | |

Replying to: jerseygirl8 (Jan 10, 2009 4:54 am) i'm actually in jersey now and spend more time in jersey than MD or PA where i live but i do know the tax in jersey is 6%. i bought mine in MD with price of $17.598 including tax and 100 dealer fee and the car was 16.5k. So if they're offering you at $16.056, how come your OTD price is much more than mine since the tax is the same?
