I got the LX-Auto with Splash Guard for 16.5 + Tax, Title (275.50) from HughWhite Honda, Columbus OH. Best deal around this location.. I was able to match the deal Dayton dealer (mattcastruccihonda) was offering (1000$ cashback in addition to sales price) and got the color we wanted... This is my second purchase from HughWhite and never had issues.. and they are very good to deal with.. Hope this helps someone around this area.
I would suggest doing a price check for 200 miles radius to get the best deal.

thanks, i was just able to negotiate a deal for $16.7 with splash guard + tax and title. that's the best deal i've gotten so far. I still feel i can get a much better deal....i'm trying to push for $16,600 or 16.7 with free window tinting. if i could drive to ohio, i would but i don't think a total of 800+ miles is worth $200 + my time.
your post certainly gave me the audacity to ask a lower price.

Why not just buy the car and quit squabbling over pennies.

last time i checked, a hundred bucks isn't pennies. if i can get a better deal that's $100 or more in savings, why wouldn't i go for it?! I spend less than $15 bucks on gas for my current civic...so a hundred bucks is 4months worth of gas for me.

You can ask other dealers to beat this price and mostly you would get atleast one dealer would do it if you say you will buy the same day.. For me I had atleast 4 dealers wanted me to buy it same day to give the deal and it always works if you show the interest to buy if the price is right!
I would agree with you on getting 100$ more as a deal as it is our money not some one else! Good luck!

Mind you the 16,800 includes the $500 cashback honda is having
By the way, is this a secret and only you know of a 500.00 cashback rebate or whatever? I just bought a car and was not informed. Where'd you get this info?
Did you buy the car yet?

heritage honda in westminster told me about it. bowie honda wouldn't mention it and when i asked, they told me the 500 had already been deducted from the $17, 200 final price they were given me. o'donnell told me the $16,800 includes the 500 and that was after i'd asked what about the $500 cashback. mileone heritage was the only one that mentioned it immediately when i called because i was looking for a 2008 civic and the guy said "you know with the 500 cashback that's going on now you could get the 2009 for the price of the 08".
Just ask you dealer and know that the cash back ends today.
