Replying to: bwooster47 (Nov 07, 2008 8:37 am) my thought the whole time was if i can get the OTD on an EX automatic with ttl, the 3% tax, and other fees (plus some basic accessories like floormats and mudguards) to $20,000~ on a low apr, i've succeeded and can justify the new car purchase over a used one. doc fees in NC for most dealers i've talked with are $400, with a couple a bit higher. typically that is the one thing i hear is non-negotiable from all the dealers (they even have big signs in their lobbys that state it is legal here up to a certain amount). just means i've got to negotiate the price of the car that much lower

The best price I've found so far for a Honda Civic LX Coupe Automatic is $18,804. This includes all fees, destination etc. Is this a good price? Most of the other quotes were in the $19K range. Also, does anyone know the invoice of this model? It's not listed on Kelley Blue Book yet and I can't find it on the internet. The MSRP is $18,625. Thanks!

Replying to: mikefm58 (Nov 08, 2008 8:25 am) When I bought one of mine, (non Civic, $ 30. doc fees and the transaction was conducted over the phone, tops 7 mins) they also asked how I wanted it delivered ( even offering to drop it in front of my house) at no extra charge. The variables in the transaction were 1. 300 over 2. invoice 3. 30 doc fees. 4. plus TTL) 5. full tank The Civic was 10% under invoice, $24. doc fees. plus TTL, full tank. |
