2008 Civic EX Sedan AT by the_zer

Purchased on 3/29/08 in South Florida

Price $18,285.23
Trade (500.00)
Fees 38.50
Tax (6%) 1,069.42
Tag/Title 104.85
FL lemon law 2.00

Total OTD 19,000.00

Above price included wheel locks, pin stripes, splash guards, door-edge guards, moonroof visor, floor mats, and trunk tray.

Trade was '95 Accord 224,000 miles with major paint damage, some body damage, bad wheel bearings, bad struts, a/c on last leg, electrical problems and more. The interior looked pretty good. Maybe the dealer got me on the trade, but I don't think it was worth much more than $500. Edmunds indicates a trade-in value of $254 for "rough" condition.

Fees include FL battery and Tire fee, Electronic filing

Tag/title was a transfer.

Honda offered 4.99%, and said 2.99% was not available any longer. My credit score was +800, so that was not an issue. I went with my own financing.

I don't have a scanner, but what I listed above is correct.

I went to Fort Myers Honda. They did not give me that price in an email. In fact, they where higher than most, but they are my local dealer. I went there, and walked out on their first offer. As I was leaving, the salesperson knocked on my car window with a better offer.

If you want the salesperson's name, send me an email.

I am looking to purchase a 2008 Honda Civic SI with Navigation and summer tires.

MSRP : $23,695
Invoice: $21,846

Are these SI's going at MSRP? Has anyone recently purchased an SI? If so, did you have to pay MSRP? In addition, is the 3.9% APR been extended to April?

Any input would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks!

Hi does any one out there have any price quote in FL dealer for 2008 Civic LX....?

All I got one with ~ $18,000 OTD (Including FL 6% tax, dealer fee - $495, Tag title $105 etc)

I have seen some of the post here, with $17,340 (OTD).. Do you think I can ask those dealers to go down to $17,000 OTD? This means I am asking final sale price around $15,900 (Including dealer’s fees)

Anyone out there from FL to answer? HELP HELP Pleaaaaaaazzzzzz

I paid $22,000 OTD for mine. We have no State tax and registration was not included. Registration figures will vary here depending on if you transfer plates or not.
$22k I think was a good price for me and included a free oil change and gas fill up, haven't used them yet.

So $22,000 was your purchase price, then?

Thanks
