Replying to: firewill65 (Mar 24, 2008 1:10 pm) Could you scan your buyer contract (block your personal information) and send it to me, baorulez at gmail dot com? I am looking to buy a Civic LX auto sedan. The dealers around here would not quote me a reasonable price. They said they would match if they see a buyer contract. Could someone send me your buyer contract with less than $18000 OTD? Thanks a lot! Bao

Replying to: mrj171 (Mar 19, 2008 11:23 pm) I just bought a 08 Civic Sedan LX-Manual in the Northern VA area for $17,050 OTD (out-the-door). I don't have receipt in front of me but the invoice including freight was $16100 and the remaining was taxes, tags, and processing. I really hope this was a good deal because I didn't do a lot of shopping around. What do you guys think? CC |

I paid 16400 in RI. This is before the 7% state tax. I though I got a great deal. All negotiations were done online. No other dealership would beat it.

Purchased on 3/29/08 in South Florida Price $18,285.23 Trade (500.00) Fees 38.50 Tax (6%) 1,069.42 Tag/Title 104.85 FL lemon law 2.00 Total OTD 19,000.00 Above price included wheel locks, pin stripes, splash guards, door-edge guards, moonroof visor, floor mats, and trunk tray. Trade was '95 Accord 224,000 miles with major paint damage, some body damage, bad wheel bearings, bad struts, a/c on last leg, electrical problems and more. The interior looked pretty good. Maybe the dealer got me on the trade, but I don't think it was worth much more than $500. Edmunds indicates a trade-in value of $254 for "rough" condition. Fees include FL battery and Tire fee, Electronic filing Tag/title was a transfer. Honda offered 4.99%, and said 2.99% was not available any longer. My credit score was +800, so that was not an issue. I went with my own financing.
