Ex Coupe is $18590 Invoice+Destination. With 7% tax, the price is $19891, and you're yet to add $200-$300 or whatever it is in Illinois for Tag & Title. If they are willing to give it to you for $19447, you're probably $500-$700 under invoice which is really good. This assumes you're not losing money in financing or dealer taking your old car for whatever terms.

thanks for letting me know brick08 I haven't told them that I would be financing nor would I be trading in any car. I'll go ahead and talk to the dealership now, another question i have do you think I have any room to negotiate the price little bit more or do you think that the car dealer wouldn't go any lower than this price.

Thanks for the information. I've bought Hondas from both Majestic and Westbrook. I live about ten minutes from Westbrook and have have always thought they were way overpriced. I will use the internet and hopefully will get a deal below invoice. Thanks again.

I'd not know if they are willing to go lower or by how much. If you have anyone else quoting same or lower price, you can show that and ask them to match or lower it. Or you can take this dealership price to someone else and ask them to beat it. Neither party might agree to it. Or you can just ask them if they're willing to lower it anymore.

Reporting our purchase of a 2008 Civic 4DR LX sedan (AT) with Splash Guards installed for 17085.00 plus local tax (Ohio), etc., and got the 2.9% financing. We felt this might not have been the best deal possible, but a pretty good one, and we were short on time. We didn't get any internet quotes beforehand; maybe that would have yielded a better deal.

Drove 20 miles to Westbrook Honda in Westbrook, CT today to test drive Civics. Appointment was for 11am, got there a few minutes early.

My salesperson wasn't around, it took 10 minutes and asking 4-5 people before anyone could even find out where he was. I was then informed he was out on a test drive with another customer.

I sat around for 30 minutes and nothing. I got up and left. Maybe I was just being anal, but I have no patience for that kind of behavior. It sucks because they are the closest dealership to me, but Westbrook Honda just lost a potential customer.

When I lived up in Clinton for a short period, did visit the Westbrook dealership. The prices weren't great by any means, so just waited till I got back home to buy.

Dealerships do not honor draft checks for banks like Capital One. Reason being is because they don't get the money for 2 months while the car is being driven around. With excellent credit, you should be able to get 4.99% anyways.
