I was talking with a dealer I have purchased from and recommended in the past (in the Louisville, KY area) and he said they would do any Civic model (except the new leather models and the Si models) for 1% over invoice + their normal doc/notary/title sees - the total for all 3 is just under $500. This would make the LX Sedan AT about $670 over invoice while the EX w/NAV AT (no leather) would be $702 over. Decent prices? I would think my local "never heard of prices this low" dealers could not get close to them, but I have seen folks post lower prices here - but sometimes they involve a trade or purchased accessories. 2008 Civic 4dr LX manual Kansas City, MO area $16,600 OTD (all fees including base price, delivery, etc... except sales tax). I wish people would stop posting prices with taxes, etc... Nobody has the same tax, it just confuses people.

Hennessy in Woodstock, GA quoted me $16,782 for an 08 Civic sedan LX AT. This includes their $389 prep fee. GA residents would pay additional registration and lemon law fees ($42 + $13???). Invoice is $16,984 so this is $202 under including dealer fees. Dennis |

Where did you end up getting the best deal from? I am hoping to pay no more than 16 500 for the car but the offer for 16 200 sounds incredible! where did you get that offer from? |

Maybe you can take advantage of this fact; that and waiting till the end of the month. The F&I process was okay. You have to sit through their sales pitch for the extended warranties, theft protection, etc. As with my Accord purchase, they offered to buy down my finance rate but this was contingent on me purchasing their warranty. I declined. They were polite about it. I even asked them to remove one last item (etching fee ~250) from the final contract and they were polite about it too. breakdown: EX sedan: 19100 state voucher: -3000 tax: 1006.25 doc fee: 50 (capped in TX) inventory tax: 40.03 license, registration: 127.55 deputy fee: 5 my end cost: 17328.83 One last thing, almost all Honda's in the D/FW area have additional dealer accessories, usually ProPack (cargo tray, splash guards, & wheel locks), pinstripes, door edge guards, and moonroof visor. Huggins & Eagle had the fewest dealer add-ons that I saw. |
